چکیده

Introduction: Microvascular and endothelial disorders play a significant role in the pathophysiology of coronary slow flow phenomenon (CSFP). However, according to previous studies, etiology CSFP is not completely understood. As CD40 dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) are reported an important atherosclerosis process as well microvascular dysfunction, this study evaluated these two biomarkers CSFP. Methods: One-hundred twenty-nine volunteers who were candidates for angiography fulfilled inclusion criteria selected, including 29 patients with artery diseases (CADs) which had less than 50% stenosis (CAD+,<50%) without CSF, 22 CAD+patients 50-90% (CAD+, 50%-90%) 16 CSF their arteries, 40 healthy individuals controls. The serum levels DPP-4 measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay kit. Results: There was no correlation between concentration thrombosis myocardial infarction (TIMI) frame count (P=0.571). significantly higher values (P=0.022). Moreover, different vessels did exhibit any relation TIMI score (P=0.763). Conclusion: In present study, found concentrations mean corrected (CTFC). Accordingly, further studies larger population sizes needed investigate

Evaluation of Electrocardiogram Changes in Patients with Slow Coronary Flow

Background: Slow coronary flow (SCF) is defined as a condition in which in spite of no evidence of coronary occlusion or stenosis in angiography, there is delayed pacification of the vessels after the injection of a contrast agent. There are several studies about electrocardiogram (ECG) changes in these patients, but changes like OLD MI, RBBB, LBBB, LVH and ST-T wave have not b...

Coronary flow evaluation by TIMI frame count and magnetic resonance flow velocity in patients with coronary artery ectasia.

PURPOSE Coronary artery ectasia (CAE) is defined as a dilatation of an arterial segment to a diameter at least 1.5 times that of the adjacent artery. It is characterized by slow flow, predisposing to thrombosis. The TIMI frame count (TFC) technique has been successfully used for the assessment of coronary flow velocity using coronary angiograms (CA). Our aim was to compare TFC with magnetic res...

Coronary flow velocity reserve does not correlate with TIMI frame count in patients undergoing non-emergency percutaneous coronary intervention.

OBJECTIVES The purpose of this research was to compare the Thrombolysis In Myocardial Infarction (TIMI) frame count (CTFC) with coronary flow velocity reserve (CFVR) in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). BACKGROUND The relationship between CTFC and CFVR has not been adequately assessed in patients with coronary artery disease. METHODS We studied 62 patients who un...

Coronary microvascular dysfunction in patients with microvascular angina: analysis by TIMI frame count.

We have previously reported that angina pectoris persists in patients with coronary microvascular spasm (MVS) even on calcium channel blockers. Because measurement of myocardial lactate production in the coronary sinus is necessary to diagnose MVS, a more feasible diagnostic method needs to be developed. In this study, we examined the diagnostic significance of Thrombolysis in Myocardial Infarc...
